A look at how Google and the tech giants are using Google Glass to track people, businesses and governments

Google’s Glass, which is in development for the foreseeable future, is an augmented reality headset that can track the position of people, locations, and events in real-time, as well as give users real-world information on what’s happening in the world.
The company says that Google Glass is a “powerful tool for monitoring people, lands, events, and other events in the real world”.
The technology is so powerful that it’s used by police, for example, to track the whereabouts of people who are suspected of criminal activity.
But as Google’s chief technology officer Chris Cox said in a statement, the company is also using Glass to build maps and other data analytics tools.
“Glass can be used to collect data on people, landmarks, and objects that can be easily linked to information that is useful to businesses and government agencies,” Mr Cox said.
“By doing so, we’re able to build new insights about our customers’ lives.”
The company’s efforts to use Glass are driven by two different goals: to make its own maps and to build a bigger digital portfolio that will help it better manage Google Glass.
Google Glass was originally designed as a “smart phone”, but Google is now trying to make the glasses as useful as its own products, including its mobile apps and Android mobile devices.
It wants to use data to build tools that will better understand how people use the technology.
Google is also taking the idea of a digital map seriously, and its CEO said he and his team are “working hard” to get Glass to a point where it can be deployed in real time by governments, businesses, and individuals.
The idea of making its digital maps available to anyone has already begun to gain traction with governments around the world, including Australia and the UK.
The Australian government has already set up a virtual office with Google Glass and its maps to help them build their digital infrastructure, while the UK’s government is working with Google on a similar project.
“Google Glass is an important tool for building a more robust digital infrastructure,” said Google’s head of maps, Ben Hsieh.
“We’re really excited about the potential for Glass to provide better, more accurate, and more detailed information about the lives of Australians.”
If we can make the map more useful, more timely, and less intrusive for our users, that’s a win-win for everyone.
“Google has also said that Glass is also “a great tool for understanding where people are going and how they are going to be using the world”.
Google is planning to put Glass in public spaces in cities across the world in the next few months, with plans to expand into more of the world’s cities, including New York and Paris.
The project is one of many projects the tech giant is pursuing to develop digital infrastructure and tools that could improve the lives and well-being of people around the globe.”
The Glass team is working on a number of projects around Glass to help us make it even better,” said Mr Cox.”
These include working on more robust, more granular maps for the environment, improving the accuracy of real-estate data and providing better insight into people’s movements around the real estate market.
